W pierwszej połowie 2025 roku prowincja Almería wyeksportowała rekordową ilość ogórków pod względem wolumenu i wartości, zgodnie z raportem Hortoinfo opartym na danych z usługi statystycznej Estacom (Icex-Tax Agency). W okresie od stycznia do czerwca Hiszpania wyeksportowała 390,31 miliona kilogramów ogórków, co stanowi wzrost o 20%.
