Belgian potato suppliers are adjusting to the preferences of UK consumers.

Belgium exported nearly 500,000 tonnes of potatoes to the UK last year, mainly in frozen forms. As the leading potato exporter in Europe, Belgium now provides more than half of all imported processed potatoes in the UK, amounting to €820 million in 2024 alone.
