Spain: Declining trend in fruit and vegetable exports continues
Spain exported 2.1 million tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables worth €3.38 billion in the first two months of this year, according to the latest official data. This is down 13.5% and up 6% respectively compared to the same period in 2022.
Of the total, vegetables accounted for 1.1m tonnes (-12.4%), with the decline affecting most products such as peppers
