EU sustainability strategies: Timmermanns calls on critics for dialogue
The European Commission will not present any new proposals on the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products (SUR) as well as on the Nature Restoration Act (NRL). This was made clear by the Vice-President of the Brussels-based authority in charge of the Green Deal, Frans Timmermans, during the hearings before the Agriculture Committee as well as the Environment Committee in the European Parliament.
