Continuing with the initiative to make Bhaderwah the "Valley of flowers," scientists from CSIR-IIIM led by Dr. Iqra Farooq, under the Union government's Floriculture Mission, visited marigold fields. They distributed seeds among farmers and successfully introduced high-yielding cut flowers.
