Peru gets green light to export grapes to Japan

Japan has authorised imports of Peruvian grapes, a move that Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism said will allow exports of 26 grape varieties, with a potential value of US$17m. In 2022, Peru exported US$1.362bn of table grapes around the world, up 8.9% from the previous year.
