In the first quarter of the year, EU fruit and vegetable imports from Morocco totaled 1,121 million euros, which is a 14% increase compared to the same period last year, continuing the upward trend of recent years. The volume also increased by 9%, reaching a total of 512,689 tons. Tomatoes continue to be the most imported fruit and vegetable product from Morocco into the EU.
