Cooperation between France and Italy to save organic apples
With 193,000 and 227,000 tonnes respectively, Italy and France are the two largest producers of organic apples in the European Union, accounting for 64% of the 658,000 tonnes of European production.
Encouraged by European and national public policies, conversions have been very dynamic, with an increase in organic apple orchards in France
