Castellón: Benihort expects a good watermelon season
Benihort (Benicarlo/Castellón) expects to market 10 million kg of striped low-seeded watermelons in this year's campaign - provided the weather plays along. The 2023 campaign is expected to start at the end of June. The importance of this fruit for the cooperative is evidenced by its figures: in 2022, it accounted for 25% of production volume and 22% of total sales
