Disparate performances among European countries
The latest data on potato crop yields processed by the European Commission in mid-2022 indicate a figure of 35,700 kilos per hectare, an increase on the figure for the last five-year period, which was 34,000 kilos.
The Netherlands is the country with the highest yield, reaching 44,200 kilos per hectare, a figure that improves on the previous five-year figure of 34,000 kilos.
