German jam producers are raising concerns: the fruit harvest in 2024 was a disaster. On average, the yields of apples, sour cherries, strawberries, and other soft fruits in Germany were one-third below expectations. Sour cherries were particularly affected, with a shortfall of up to 60%. The situation was similar in neighboring countries.
