Italy if it opts in front of the PPWR
The future European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) has generated deep unease in the agricultural sector about the ban on packaging for fruit and vegetables. At the European level, there are already precedents of national regulations that have been implemented in this sense, such as the Royal Decree on Packaging and Packaging Waste.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
