Misleading labelling at the start of the summer fruit season
The Coordination of Farmers' and Stockbreeders' Organisations (COAG) has once again detected serious breaches in the labelling of fruit on the shelves of large-scale retail outlets. Once again, the current labelling regulations are being violated, as the correct origin of the product on sale is not reflected, affecting its traceability and making it possible to mislead consumers, who have no elements
of what they are buying
they have no information
on the origin of the product.

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
