Greening disease, which is spread by the Asian citrus psyllid, has affected almost 48 per cent of Brazil's citrus belt, as per recent data from Fundecitrus. The research group indicated that infections have increased for the eighth year in a row, leading to a decrease in orange production in the world's largest citrus-producing region.
