Fruit and vegetable price trends as at 30 January
The bad weather has created some imbalances in the fruit and vegetable market. Cauliflower prices are soaring, doubling in some markets in the face of high demand and low supply due to frost; tomato quotations are also on the rise. The artichoke, fennel and radicchio campaigns continue to be underwhelming, while the clementine campaign is about to close.
