Hail, ice also arrives in the South

While hail had whitened much of northern Italy last week (click here to read more), in recent days it has also arrived in the southern regions, leaving a trail of damage to both crops and civil infrastructure. The regions most affected were Puglia and Basilicata, where the bad weather phenomena occurred in patches.
