The Valencian Community distributes fungicide to prevent citrus gummosis.
The citrus surface affected by the flood and whose crops could be severely affected by gummosis, caused by fungi of the genus Phytophthora spp., is more than 15,000 hectares, mainly in the regions of Hoya de Buñol and Los Serranos.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
