The Papua New Guinea mushroom market exhibits a significant disparity between demand and supply, with an annual need for 35 tons, while only 3.5 tons are currently being supplied. This issue was brought to light by Peti Lafanama, the managing director of Pioneer Mushroom, during the conclusion of the China Aid Upland Rice project.
