Thuringia: Production area for edible mushrooms was 41,000 square metres in 2022
As reported by the Thuringian State Office for Statistics, last year Thuringian farms, each with a minimum area of 1,000 square metres, cultivated a production area for edible mushrooms of around 41,000 square metres.
Through multiple use of these areas, around 2,800 t of edible mushrooms were produced on a total of 142,000 square metres in 2022.
