The majority of fruits and vegetables sold in stores and markets in the Republic of Moldova comply with pesticide regulations, as reported by the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA). Analysis of more than 2,100 samples conducted by authorities last year revealed that over 91 percent met the legal limits for pesticide residues.
