ALDI increases its purchases from domestic suppliers by more than 10%.
ALDI reaffirms its commitment to national suppliers and in 2022 has increased the purchase of products of national origin by more than 10%. Specifically, in fresh produce (fruit, vegetables, meat and fish), more than 123,000 tonnes of products were purchased from domestic suppliers, which is more than 5% more than in 2021.

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
