Britain loses apple-growing pioneer Adrian Scripps

Adrian Scripps, one of the most important growers of apples ever to the farm in the UK, died last weekend aged 86.
“It’s very sad news,” Adrian Scripps Ltd managing director James Simpson told the FPJ. “Adrian Scripps was a topfruit pioneer in the UK and a real force behind many industry initiatives over the years.”
