In Pyay, located in the Bago Region, custard apples, a seasonal fruit, are in high demand. Substantial orders are coming in from Yangon and Mawlamyine. The trading activity for these fruits begins at the start of the season and continues strongly. The custard apples are harvested over a period of three months starting from September.
