Fewer apples in 2024
European production is expected to reach 11,411,000 tonnes, a decrease of 3.3% compared to the previous year.
Poland, by far the largest European producer, is weighing particularly heavily on the balance sheet, paying 11.1% less compared to 2022. Italy, on the other hand, remains fairly stable; it is still firmly in second place

"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru.
