Fructícola Empordá's ACR technology allows apples to be preserved for a year.
Fructícola Empordà has invested 6.5 million euros in the construction of a warehouse that allows it to maintain all the qualities of the apple for a whole year using ACR technology (Advanced Control of Fruit Respiration), a unique system in Spain. The space has a surface area of 3,700 square metres, consists of 17 cold stores and has a capacity of
3,700 square metres.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
