As reported by the Statistical State Office in Bad Ems, the demand in this country has increased dramatically in recent years: In 2023, 40,652 tons of coconuts, pineapples, guavas, mangos, watermelons, melons, and papayas were imported to Rhineland-Palatinate – an increase of 35,816 tons.
