In contrast to the unstable conditions in Iran's banana import market, pineapples have been consistently supplied to Iran mainly by the Philippines for the past ten years. Alireza Emami, the CEO of the Iranian trading company Zarrin Group, mentioned that the volumes of pineapple imports to Iran have increased nearly sixfold during this period.
