Switzerland: Continued satisfactory reduction in stocks of organic apples
In May 2023, organic apple stocks were reduced by 735 t, at the end of the month there were still around 950 t of organic apples in storage. The reduction roughly corresponds to that of May 2021; in May of the previous year, only 437 t were sold. However, this is due to the fact that last year the stocks were already lower in May, according to Swisscofel and Bio Suisse.
