Switzerland: Organic apple sales in January higher than in previous years - organic pear stocks soon empty
The stock reduction of organic apples in January amounted to about 946 t, which is more than 100 t more than in January of the last two years, Swisscofel and Biosuisse report.
The reductions of Gala (384 t), Topaz (194 t), Jonagold (70 t) and Boskoop (65 t), together with the premium varieties, contributed most to the stock reductions.
