Located on the foothills of Mount Saramati near the border with Myanmar, Thanamir village celebrated its 15th Apple Festival on September 10th. The festival's theme was "Apple For Health, Wealth, And Prosperity." The village boasts a production capacity of 40-50 tonnes of apples each year, which are available from July to December.
