VentureFruitTM introduces first apple variety specifically bred for heat tolerance
After twenty years of breeding and development work within the Hot Climate Partnership, the world's first apple variety specifically bred for heat tolerance was presented at FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin on 9 February, according to BayWa Global Produce GmbH.
For more than five years, the variety, known as HOT84A1, has undergone extensive research and
development.
