The fruit cultivation sector in Ukraine is reporting negative effects from recent drought and frost conditions. Stone fruits, such as apricots, have been hit the hardest, with some apricot farms experiencing losses of up to 100% in certain areas. Cherry crops are also facing reductions of 30-50%. Deputy Head of the sector, Denys Marchuk, has noted these challenges.
