Scientists are researching the possibility of expanding dragon fruit, also known as pitahaya, production in the northwest region of Argentina. The National Agricultural Technology Institute (INTA) of the country is conducting trials to grow white, red, and yellow varieties of pitahaya at its experimental station in Yuto.
