Avocado imports to Georgia increased by 12.2% in 2024.

The National Statistics Office reports that, over the first ten months of this year, Georgia imported 1,471 tons of avocados, spending $3.4 million on them. To put it in perspective, last year, in 2023, the country imported 1,310 tons of avocados for $2.2 million. This marks an increase of 161.
