Brazil is in the process of expanding its Hass avocado production internationally, targeting Chile as a key market starting from 2025. The recent announcement of the opening of the Chilean market in December will enable Brazil to export its avocados to one of the largest avocado-consuming markets, where the annual consumption is estimated to be 8.5 kilos per capita.
