Fall in New Zealand’s kiwifruit exports
New Zealand’s prized kiwifruit suffered a disappointing 2022 in terms of exports. Figure from Stats NZ show that shipments of the fruit were down 5.1% year-on-year in value, with green kiwifruit sales plummeting by 24% in value to NZ$707.5m.
