Firmer prices are helping to rescue Peru's avocado season.

The 2024 Peruvian avocado campaign is expected to conclude on a positive note despite facing a challenging production scenario. According to consultancy FreshFruit Peru, shipments are projected to reach 591,000 tonnes by the end of the year, with a total worth of US$1.27 billion.
