Avocado growers in the Kiepersol and White River areas are replanting the Lamb Hass variety that many had removed eight to ten years ago in favor of Hass. Some growers who kept their Lamb Hass trees are now benefiting from this decision, as it gives South Africa a second opportunity to capitalize on the avocado market following Peru's significant production.
