In Nakuru County, Kenya, there is an avocado orchard near Lake Naivasha with over 2,500 trees. The farm, owned by Richard Wafula, is currently preparing to ship around 10 containers of fresh avocados to China. While Kenya has been exporting frozen avocados to China since 2019, the CIIE 2022 event will be a significant opportunity for expanded trade.
