The production of avocados in Chile has reached its highest level in 15 years.

Chilean avocado production reached 240,000 tonnes in the 2024/25 season, marking the largest crop in the last 15 years and the second-largest ever. Data from the Chilean Avocado Committee shows that only the 290,000-tonne crop in the 2009/10 season surpassed the results of this season.
