In August 2024, Cameroon experienced a 15% rise in its banana exports, reaching a total of 16,105 tons, according to the latest data from the Banana Association (Assobacam). This increase occurred even though there was a 19% decrease in exports from the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC), which only managed to export 2,268 tons.
