Chiquita Panama has announced the successful negotiation to acquire the fruit production of Banapiña-Fresh Del Monte in Puerto Armuelles as of 2024. According to a statement from the company, as of January, approximately 50 weekly containers from Puerto Armuelles will be exported to the main markets that Chiquita serves around the world.
