Peru exported 81,083 tons of bananas up until week 24, which is 15% less than in the same period of the previous year. The drop was particularly noticeable in week 24 when banana shipments decreased to 1,833 tons, a 59% decrease from the previous week and a 43% decrease from the same week last year.
