Eurobanana returns to the Swiss market
It was in 2016 when the organisation of banana producers from the Canary Islands, Europlátano, entered the Swiss market through Coop Suisse, one of the most important distribution chains in the country. Coop Suisse was founded more than 150 years ago as a small consumer cooperative and, despite its growth, it has retained its values centred on quality and quality control.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
