Europlátano debuts a new corporate image.
With over 30 years of history, this organization has grown from 43 farmer members to almost 700, and has increased banana production from 5,000,000 kg to 75,000,000 kg over these three decades. They also cultivate other fruits on the islands and have a packaging plant on-site.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
