In 2024, over 14 thousand tons of Fairtrade-certified bananas were sold in Italy, showing a 1.5% increase compared to the previous year, according to the Social Balance Sheet of Fairtrade Italy. Fair trade continues to be a concrete lever in the global fruit and vegetable supply chain.
