In Sunsari district in Nepal, a local banana farmer named Binod Mehata from Inaruwa-4 faced a setback due to flooding caused by the monsoon. Mehata had invested Rs 800,000 in cultivating bananas on two bighas of land and was expecting revenues of up to Rs 1.2 million during the Chhath festival.
