The second meeting of the Banana Advisory Council ended on Tuesday without reaching a consensus on what price to set for a box of bananas for next year, so the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) will be in charge of setting the price. "No compromise was reached at the meeting," stated Richard Salazar, executive director of the Banana Marketing and Export Association (Acorbanec).
