Two geographically specific crops from Mysuru district, the Nanjangud Rasabale banana and Mysuru veelyadele betel leaves, have experienced a decline in cultivation due to disease outbreaks and limitations in marketing. Authorities have stated that preparations for exporting both products are underway.
