Belgium: The first Hoogstraten strawberries of the season go to the King

The Ducal Society of the Companions of the Strawberry of Hoogstraten was founded in 1977. Since then, the Companions have been upholding a special tradition every year by presenting the first Hoogstraten strawberries to the Royal Palace and the Governor, as stated by the Cooperative.
